Our Charity of the Month for March and April is

THE ANGLICAN DIOCESE OF PERU

During the Archdeaconry Synod in late January / early February, a presentation was given of a visit by several people from our Archdeaconry to Peru.

​

The Diocese of Peru is celabrating 175 years of presence in Peru and 50 years as a Diocese.

​

However, their financial needs are grave, and a list of 20 critical projects was presented. These include things such as funds for clergy to visit an ophthalmologist and for buying frames for glasses for those who need them, replacement of a rotting roof, payment for drinking water that comes in by tanker, training in public speaking, English language courses, and much more.

We will be liaising with Revd Deborah Chapman of the Barcelona Chaplaincy concerning to which project we most usefully can contribute.
