Although the major part of the Renovation & Renewal Project work is complete, there are still elements of the Church that need to be updated, therefore we continue to ask for donation in order to carry out future work.

Renovation & Renewal Project
St Andrew’s Chaplaincy Council invited you to be part of an exciting project of restoration and renewal at Los Boliches.
The pan was to install a proper kitchen and renovate and improve the toilet facilities – in readiness for when we can properly re-open our Chaplaincy, and can gather together for social and fund-raising events – and much, much more!
The Disability Discrimination Act came into force more than 20 years ago. Sadly we hadn't previously even provided so much as a grab handle in our toilets for those who may have mobility issues, let alone any disabled users. Our exciting new project of restoration and renewal included new facilities for disabled users, giving them the dignity and help they deserve.
The ‘kitchen’ was really no more than a drinks preparation area, so we wanted to install a proper kitchen where basic meals could be prepared. This will give us a far better resource for any social and fund raising events.
These improvements will also make us far more attractive to potential hall users and hopefully provide much needed additional income to support our Chaplaincy ministry.
These improvements have now been completed. We also refurbished the exterior, improving our image, and renewed our air conditioning inside. And in the future we hope to make further improvements
If you would like to support us in future projects of renovation and renewal please make use of your usual bank transfers details – marking your donation with the reference ‘Appeal’. Euro or Sterling cheques will also be most welcome. You can also use the Donate form above and give in your preferred currency or leave your donation in Church.
This project is not just about buildings – it’s about rejuvenating, rebuilding & growing our ministry and outreach as a Chaplaincy. By having a Church Centre that is a really good resource will give us so many new opportunities for our ministry and also proper chance to increase our income to support that.
Donations support the ministry of the Anglican Chaplaincy of St Andrew, Costa del Sol East.

Our first service at Los Boliches following the completion of the Renovation & Renewal Project was well attended on Sunday 9th May 2021. The transformation in the surroundings was matched by the inspirational and challenging sermon given by Fr. Nigel. Thanks should go to all who were involved.
